Rugged molded case withstands all weather conditions. Features a hinged cover and quick release latch. The EC24's rubber liner doubles as a continuous cover seal. Two feed-through cable fittings are installed on end of case. Fittings accept cable diameters up to 0.26" (6.5 mm).
Comparing the EC24, EC45 and EC55
By volume, the EC24 is 25% smaller than the EC45 and has
a narrow profile (2.5" height). Only 2 cable fittings are installed in the EC24,
and with the -IC option only one cable fitting is available for a sensor or signal cable.
The EC55 is about twice as large as
the EC44. The EC506 has a folding carrying handle and can be padlocked.
Captive communication
cable (-IC option):
Cable is permanently routed through one cable fitting (so only one fitting is available for signals or sensors).
Allows data transfers to computer without opening cover. Cable extended 6ft from
case. Cable end has a
watertight cap which mates with IC209 Interface Cable.
Outfitted for Wireless
Link (-BP option):
Case configured to house XR5 Data Logger and battery powered
Wireless Link.
Includes removable battery holder for AA size cells and short (8") version of IC209 Cable (IC209-S).
