channel XR5 Data Logger.

The XR5-SE Data Logger features 8 multi-range analog inputs, 3 pulse/frequency inputs, and millivolt / thermocouple range options.
Includes: Adjustable sensor excitation, status indicators and detachable 20 position screw terminal block. Alarm generation for each analog input; average and peak sampling; 12 bit resolution; memory capacity of up to 260,000 readings (-M models), real time data output. Logging modes include delayed start, wrap-around, cycle, log on alarm, and log on external trigger. Firmware can be user-updated. Battery life is 2 to 3 years for typical applications. Pace stocks over 50 compatible sensors, all requiring no external power. Full specifications.

All XR5-SE models include 5v and 2.5v sensor excitation terminals. Sensor excitation time is selectable from 30ms to 10 seconds.

Data Logging Applications
Millivolt / Thermocouple Option: Adding a millivolt option provides two additional millivolt ranges for each analog input (table below). The -20mv or -50mv option is recommended for Thermocouple applications. The -20mv option provides higher thermocouple accuracy. The -50mv option provides higher temperature ranges for some thermocouples. See page 92-96 of the XR5-SE User's Guide for details. Pace stocks the PT450 Thermocouple Probe for thermocouple applications.
